Recently at the White House, there was a meeting between all the big corporations about Open Source security.

I wanted to dig deeper into this topic and how the Open Source Security Foundation works. I discovered that the OpenSSF with the Linux Foundation had created some free courses about Secure Software Development.

I took the “Secure Software Development: Requirements, Design, and Reuse” course that covered these exciting topics:

I really recommend it, especially if you are already in the software development field and want to improve your security skills.

A few months ago, I caught a pleasant conversation on Twitter about Distributed Tracing Systems, so I decided to write something about it.

Following the original Google Dapper Whitepaper, I tried to summarise with a few examples and use-cases how it works. Nowadays, it’s critical to trace our distributed systems down and having clear in mind how to do so is key..
