Development Practices πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»
In VMware Tanzu Labs, we often work in Balanced Teams, working with product managers, product designers, and other engineers.
We constantly communicate and collaborate, focusing on delivering customer value through working software in minor, iterative releases, adapting standard tools and practices to what works best for all members.
This practice brings many benefits, from cross-domain empowerment to autonomy in making decisions that potentially could block the delivery.
Have you ever worked in a Balanced Team?

The values behind XP are:
  • Communication
  • Feedback
  • Courage
  • Simplicity
  • Respect
Take a look at the Extreme Programming Rules page to dig more into this fantastic methodology and why you should think to adopt it.
In the following issues, I will try to cover more about this topic I care about a lot. Be prepared πŸ…

Culture πŸ‘₯

Whenever I can, I always try to explain why we should stop calling people resources, and this article by Emily Webber helped me to do so a bunch of times.
What do you think about it? Are you a resource or a fantastic human being? πŸ˜‡
